Got Time?

  • Gleaning:  Gleaning is simply harvesting crops that have either been left behind OR that have been donated by the farmer.   Gleaning is a fantastic activity to participate in as a group or family.  Younger children (and their parents) especially love it because they can be loud and active!  We have gleaned with two organizations:  The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle (IFFS) and Society of St. Andrew (SoS).  For more information on SoS contact Bruce at gleantriangle@endhunger.org.  For more information on the IFFS gleaning opportunities, email Janny@foodshuttle.org or visit  www.foodshuttle.org/program/field-Gleaning.

  • Urban Ministry Food Bags:   A fun project you can accomplish and help those in need is to buy food and create food bags for Urban Ministry.   For information on doing this – Click Here.
