Senior Adult Ministry

We have a very active Senior Ministry Committee at St. Philip. Our mission is:
♦To establish and/or strengthen relationships among senior members.
♦To offer support to senior members as important and valued members of our Christian family.

To accomplish our mission, the committee works closely with the Pastor to meet the needs of our home-bound members with visits, phone calls, and greeting cards.

We provide communion and, when needed, transportation to doctor appointments, medical treatments, St. Philip worship services and social functions.

We bring gift bags to our home-bound members on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We also send birthday cards to all senior members.

Several Adult activities are organized under the Senior Ministry Committee umbrella.

Ladies Lunch
Men’s Breakfast
Saints and Sinners
Book Club
Day Trips
Puzzle Get-together.

If you wish to be a part of leading or have ideas for any of these activities, you are welcome to attend our Senior Ministry Committee meetings. The meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am in the Music Room. We could use your help.
