Sunday School
Our Sunday school classes begin for children at age 2-3 years old. Classes run from September through May. The curriculum we use for our children is SPARK from Group Augsburg Fortress. SPARK offers a fun and developmentally appropriate look at the foundational stories of our faith. There is a take home sheet each week that allows the learning to continue at home with daily devotions.
Nursery Care
All children are welcome in worship services, which include a special children’s sermon. But nursery care is also provided for children up to the age of four years during the worship services year round as well as the Sunday school hour from September-May. The nursery is shepherded by adult and youth volunteers.

Preschool
St. Philip Lutheran Preschool is a week-day preschool stressing living and learning in a loving Christian environment. Believing that each child is special and unique, our goal is to foster the individual growth of each child.
St. Philip has an atmosphere of nurturing and loving care where the children discover new ideas, form friendships, and develop ways to live and work together. Learning is a pleasant experience and school must be a fun and enjoyable place. St. Philip believes that children grow in understanding in this atmosphere.
Activities include music, art, Spanish, programs, field trips, and more. See Curriculum for more detail.
